A research-driven exhibition artwork series celebrating pioneering women in medicine, with a special focus on Dr. Jamini Sen and other groundbreaking female practitioners from the 19th century onwards. The project required extensive archival research and careful visual interpretation of historical documentation.
The artwork series includes:
-Interpretative illustrations of historical figures
-Visual narratives of key moments in medical history
-Integration of archival materials
-Exhibition display designs
This collaborative project with RCPSG brings to light previously untold stories of women who shaped medical history, challenging gender inequality in the medical profession. The artwork serves both as historical documentation and as a contemporary commentary on the ongoing journey toward equality in healthcare.
